Positions: Los Angeles Production Associate (Los Alamitos, CA)

Responsibilities: Our ideal candidate is excited about helping his or her team achieve our customer commitment. She or he will complete all daily production activities with high-energy and enthusiasm, including:

  • Set-up, restock and breakdown produce on the production line according to FIFO guidelines
  • Pack orders according to fruit maps and shipping labels ensuring that 100% accuracy and quality goals are met, that any special notes are adhered to, and that the box is sorted on the correct shipping pallet
  • Maintain an organized packing space during production: collect fruit for donation and store appropriately, break down cardboard, dispose of trash and recycling, move pallets, restock supplies
  • Follow USDA Food Safety and National Organic Practice protocols to ensure quality and safety of product
  • Fold boxes cardboard shipping boxes and sort recycled boxes
  • Clean the packing area, cooler, dock and warehouse, and help in common area cleaning
  • Complete all individual and team work while staying on-pace during the day and finishing on-time
  • Maintain constant communication with Production Manager and production team during the day, at team meetings, in one-on-one check-ins with the Production Manager, and by email
  • Complete additional projects as necessary with direction from the Production Manager

Position: Chicago Distribution Coordinator (Driver) (Bedford Park, IL)

Responsibilities: The Distribution Coordinator is responsible for working directly with the other team members and for ensuring our clients consistently receive premium delivery service, exceeding the average level of attention. Such “white glove” service includes but is not limited to: always arriving with a positive and welcoming attitude, unpacking product, and delivering the FruitGuys Brand. As part of the Distribution team, a successful candidate will also learn the basic functions of distribution such conducting a pallet check, printing tags, processing added or canceled orders and printing routing reports.

  • Loading/Unloading Product: The delivery driver will be responsible for loading and unloading all product into the FruitGuys van each morning. The vehicle is to be maintained at a superior level of cleanliness at all times.
  • Reporting: The delivery driver will be the medium between The FruitGuys customer service department, thus regular reporting on usage is a must. Reporting will be used to maintain sufficient order amounts and proper product allocation.
  • Customer Interaction: The delivery driver is the face of The FruitGuys. Therefore, the driver will possess the ability to always provide a positive customer experience and answer basic questions upon request.
  • Product Handling: The delivery driver will understand the importance of safe handling at The FruitGuys and while on a customer’s premises. This includes handling the product so as not to damage the quality or presentation of it.
  • Traffic Laws: The delivery driver is to understand and obey all Chicago driving laws and precautions. Maintaining a clean driving record is a must.

All while working to increase efficiency, effectively manage the routes, and uphold the core values of the Company.

Position: Account Executive (Maplewood, NJ)

Overview: Join an existing staff of account executives at our fast-paced, convivial office. Using a steady stream of new prospects provided by The FruitGuys, this position will be responsible for calling and emailing companies nationwide, then qualify and close them on weekly fruit programs for their offices. Our Mid-Market Sales team works closely with the Mid-Market Sales Manager here in NJ, as well as our California customer service department. You’d receive thorough training on our sales strategy and business tools.

Overview: The FruitGuys is expanding their sales efforts in the Boston, New England market. We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen and natural sales instincts. Ideal candidates should have a strong “hunter” mentality and be eager to advance through a clearly defined learning and earning path. The FruitGuys offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided the tools, resources and outstanding leadership to sell health solutions to corporations. We are looking for individuals to join our national sales team of Enterprise Reps, conducting inside and outside sales full time in the Boston, New England area—with the flexibility of working from home. We are offering an intermediate level position identifying and selling weekly fruit delivery programs to local and national companies as a health benefit. Position: Market Manager–Tampa Region (Tampa, FL)

Responsibilities The Market Manager manages all aspects of fruit operations and client satisfaction in their region. They are driven to provide excellent service to our customers, uphold the core company values, and lead the continuous improvement of Tampa operations. Each day requires leadership of people and procedures, world-class customer service, and devising creative solutions.

  • Key Account Management, Client Retention & Brand Development: Make client visits and deliveries several days each week. Promptly and professionally resolve client issues however necessary. Participate in events, such as health fairs, and other brand and client development opportunities. Make sure all client experiences are in-line with our brand standards and ideals. Identify and resolve any operational issues affecting client experiences./li>
  • Quality Control & Production: Collaborate with order fulfillment partner on staff training as well as fruit and product quality control. Ensure co-packer has necessary order packing supplies.
  • Buying: Collaborate with order fulfillment partner in in setting weekly fruit mix and make weekly purchases according to season, budget and fruit quality budget. Review and log purchase invoices. Collaborate with other FruitGuys buyers around the country on special fruit purchases.
  • Distribution: Ensure completion of daily shipping label printing, order routing, tracking and delivery requests, and any other daily distribution needs. Lead relationship building, selection, and negotiations with distribution partners.
  • Budget, Goals & Metrics: Gather and analyse metrics data. Oversee all cost areas and purchasing, ensuring budget goals are met and seeking cost-effective and profitable ways to conduct business and meet Company standards.
  • Vendor Management & Development: Identify, develop and manage relationships with good partners for The FruitGuys, particularly couriers, farmers, and our order fulfillment partner.
  • Culture, Communication & Collaboration: Keep in constant communication with colleagues and clients, and work across departments and with other FruitGuys locations to facilitate company-wide improvements and ensure current company standards are met and maintained. Act as an example of an enthusiastic, positive, “can-do” attitude, and strive for zero repeat customers issues. Represent The FruitGuys 5Rs culture in the Tampa marketplace.
