Sommerfeld Apple

Discovered in a Gala and Fuji orchard, assumed to be a cross of both of these celebrity apples. Sommerfeld apples are yellow with red striping. A California original.

Storage Tips

Apples should be kept in a cool (below 60/70°F) space away from sunlight and heat, where they will keep for two weeks. Refrigerated apples can last as long as six weeks.
