Miss Misunderstood Veggie. Nondescript Jicama (pronounced HIK-ka-ma) is a root veggie with a surprisingly refreshing texture. It can be cooked or is delish raw, and has a very mild taste that takes up dressing flavors well.

Preparation Tips

Peel, and slice the bottom to create a stable base and cut into sticks, dice or grate. Can be cooked or eaten raw. Great in salads or as crudités and pairs well with lime, cucumbers, peppers and cilantro.

Store in fridge, unwrapped, for up to two weeks.
