Mr. Mickey was my shop teacher at Valley Forge Junior High School back in 1982. He introduced me to typesetting and the printing press. “This is important stuff,” he grunted to me as I tried to pick up metal-cast punctuation marks with my fingernails from the tin typesetting tray. “Why?” I asked exasperated. He leaned in close. He smelled like metal shavings and breakfast cereal. “Because people will always need to read newspapers,” he said. 

While Mr. Mickey may be thrown off by the links on this page (many of which are from electronic media as well as newspapers), we hope that you find what you’re looking for when browsing the articles about what we do and what we’ve done.  We also hope that finding the article you need isn’t as hard as picking up a comma the size of a grain of rice.
