What’s right for my office?
Whether you are a Fortune 500 company with multiple locations across the country or a start-up in stealth mode, fresh fruit in the office is great way to keep employees happy and engaged while showing your staff that you value a healthy, positive environment. Our small mixes are ideal for an office of 3–10, our medium mixes feed 10–18, and our large boxes are great for 18–35 folks. If your office is larger than 50 employees, please reach out to us or let us know how to get in touch—we’ll craft a custom fruit-at-work program that’s just right for you.
The FruitGuys established its Philadelphia hub in 2007 to better serve its East Coast clients and efficiently provide regional fruit to our customers in the Northeast. Since then, our buyers have been roaming Pennsylvania’s lush countryside, making lasting connections with local farmers. We work with many farms that have deep roots in their communities and long histories of farming, from Biglerville to Boyertown and Bucks to Berks counties.
Pennsylvania’s fertile land nurtures numerous heirloom fruit varieties that newcomers brought with them from Europe and Asia, some still growing on hundred-year-old stock. Many heritage apples, such as Pippins, Pearmains, McIntoshes, and the occasional Smokehouse find their way into The FruitGuys’ conventional and organic mixes.
From our base in Philly, we travel up and down the Eastern seaboard to serve our customers in Virginia, the DC metro area, Delaware, and New York City. Our Inside Sales and Enterprise Sales teams are headquartered in New Jersey, where they keep an ear to the ground about what’s afoot in the world of workplace wellness. We share nearly two decades’ worth of insight into fitness, ergonomics, and nutrition with traditional corporate cultures as well as start-ups—our monthly online magazine is chock-full of fresh ideas about bringing healthy living and work life together.
The FruitGuys pledges not only to bring healthy snacks to the workers of the world, but also to use its resources to tackle food insecurity and boost community health through our partnerships with local not-for-profit organizations. We’ve been working with Philabundance since 2007; other local partners include, the Neighbor to Neighbor Community Development Corp in Delaware County.. Every year, we donate more than 2 million servings of fruit to those in need in communities across the U.S..
The FruitGuys is proud of its roots in Philly and has established vital business and community partnerships here.
“A people without the knowledge of their history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots.”
