Get a jump on better health and have fun while you’re at it.

A childhood favorite, the jump-rope, has swung back into popularity among fitness trainers and exercisers due to the multiple benefits delivered via a workout with this simple, low tech device. Jumping rope burns lots of calories, about 12 per minute for a 150 pound adult jumping at 120 turns per minute! Works muscles in the legs, shoulders, chest and forearms. Builds cardiovascular endurance and is easier on the knees than running since you only jump a little bit off the ground. Plus, you can do it almost anywhere, indoors or out and in all kinds of weather.
