Go ahead, say it: "fa-fa fava beans and a nice chianti." Now that that's out of the way you can enjoy one of the most nutritious legumes. Also known as “horse bean” or “broad bean,” it’s often used dried and even ground, as it is in some Middle Eastern recipes for falafel. Fava Beans can be steamed, served with olive oil, salt, and lemon, and some civil company.
