Peaches were probably first domesticated about 4000 years ago in China. By cultivating and passing the knowledge and seedlings down the Silk Road we now benefit from thousands of varieties of peaches. The Amber Crest is one of the first peaches of the season. This small, tart clingstone is great for baking, or snacking.
