Do you get tired from staring at your computer screen all day? Do your shoulders get that tight, crunchy feeling? Well, our resident Pilates, yoga instructor, Shannan Slevin can help us destress and stretch! Shannan led us through a 30-minute office yoga session with a focus on balance.
This sequence encouraged focus and concentration, with balancing poses (using fruit)! By balancing fresh apples on their heads, our participants were able to focus on their stability, steadiness, and breath. Most of the poses in this session were static and required the participants to remain in a still position to make sure their apples did not move from their heads.
