Fighting hunger has been part of our mission since we made our first donations of leftover fruit to St. Anthony’s Dining Room in San Francisco soon after starting the business in 1998. Our programs include:
- Donate-a-Crate, powered by FruitGuys clients who forward their deliveries to those in need instead of cancelling their orders
- The FruitGuys Weekly Donations, where we donate all excess and imperfect produce rather than selling it
Donate-a-Crate
Donate! Don’t Cancel Generous FruitGuys clients and individuals can forward deliveries when their offices are closed to a charity of their choosing or choose from our network of regional hunger relief partners. Please contact your Client Care Specialist or Customer Service to forward your order, find a community partner, or purchase fruit to send as donation. No additional shipping charges apply within our standard delivery areas. Contact us for more information. Email: info@fruitguys.com
Since 2009, clients have forwarded 18,884 boxes—almost 1 million servings — to food banks and pantries.
