Picture it—San Francisco, 1998—the dot-com boom. Busy office workers running through cubical mazes like Pac-Man, gobbling up scads of unhealthy snacks. Enter Chris Mittelstaedt (FruitGuys founder and CEO), whose idea was to deliver power pellets of delicious, healthy fresh fruit to Bay Area businesses—and thus, The FruitGuys was born! Chris humbly began in his family kitchen, using a Honda Civic to make deliveries. The FruitGuys has now grown into a national company serving businesses small and large in metro areas across the country.
