Here’s How The FruitGuys Got Started

Here’s the story of The FruitGuys and how our CEO, Chris Mittelstaedt, got started! Starting in his kitchen with little money, Chris and his friend learned how to buy produce, pack boxes, and deliver them to downtown San Francisco offices. Through the hardships and obstacles, like an economic crash and layoffs, The Fruitguys grew and is now serving thousands of companies! In addition to making sure people in offices are eating healthy, The Fruitguys helps low-income schools have access to farm fresh fruit while supporting small local farms all across the country. In 2012, The FruitGuys started a non-profit, The Fruitguys Community Fund, which assists farmers by providing grants for their farms to employ more sustainable and eco-friendly methods of farming. Through nationwide donations, The FruitGuys helps people in need have access to fresh fruit as well. Tune in to learn more about The FruitGuys!
