The FruitGuys is proud to be a Certified B Corporation. B Corps are for-profit businesses that meet the highest standards of independently-verified social and environmental performance, accountability, and public transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices.
Since our founding in 1998, we’ve been on a mission to
- create a healthier workplace,
- support small farms,
- fight hunger, and
- be a great place to work.
We became a Certified B Corporation in 2019 to challenge ourselves to continually improve our business practices and promote positive change in our communities and for the planet. As a family-owned and operated business, we amended our operating agreement to reflect this commitment.
We donate a minimum value of 20% of annual profits to fight hunger and support small farms.
In 2022, we were recognized among the top 5% of B Corps worldwide as Best for the World in the Community Impact category.
The FruitGuys recertified as a B Corp in 2023. This process included a 300+ question assessment, rigorous verification requirements, and meeting updated standards in the five B Corp impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers.

Since 1998, The FruitGuys has been on a mission to connect people, nourish communities, and regenerate the planet.
CONNECTING PEOPLE by creating thriving relationships between people, food, and the environment. We do this through service and actions that connect our clients with farmers, producers, and those in need.
NOURISHING COMMUNITIES by supporting our employees and bringing healthy food to those impacted by hunger. We donate all excess and visually-imperfect produce and snacks each week to a nationwide network of hunger relief partners. We consider employees to be family and our goal is to empower them in every aspect of their growth and success.
REGENERATING THE PLANET by sourcing from small farms and independent vendors, which are critical to a diverse food system, a healthy environment, and a sustainable economy. We fund small grants with big sustainability impacts for small farms each year through the nonprofit The FruitGuys Community Fund.

Choosing to purchase from The FruitGuys helps our family-owned and operated B Corp business sustain the independent small farms and food producers that we source from and support the hunger relief and small farm initiatives of our GoodWorks programs.
We donate a minimum value of 20% annual profits through weekly produce and snack donations from our facilities to community partners nationwide; and annual sustainability grants to small farms via our non-profit, The FruitGuys Community Fund.
