Closing for the Holidays? Donate, Don’t Skip!

If your office will be closed or minimally staffed over the holidays, you have a wonderful opportunity ahead. Instead of skipping your regular fruit or snack delivery, you can donate that holiday box to a local hunger relief organization through The FruitGuys Donate-a-Crate program!
Our team makes it easy to forward your delivery to people in need. We have a network of local hunger relief partners across the country that you can choose from, or you can forward your box to a nearby organization of your choice.
Instead of skipping your delivery, just call 1-877-FRUIT-ME (877-378-4863) and we’ll “fruit it forward” on your behalf. We’re happy to make the change free of charge within our regular distribution area.
Since 2009, generous FruitGuys customers like you have forwarded 18,884 boxes — almost 1 million servings! — of fruit to food banks and pantries. Those donations provide much-needed hunger relief and support the small farmers we source from through the holiday season.
Each box has a life-changing impact on organizations like Project Open Hand, a San Francisco-based nonprofit that provides 2,500 meals and 125 grocery orders daily. Many of their clients are critically ill and/or senior residents in San Francisco and Oakland.
