Did you know you can help people in need by forwarding your fruit box to a charity in your area? As the holidays approach, we wanted to not only thank you for your business but also share how The FruitGuys Donate-a-Crate program makes it easy to pay it forward now or any time of the year.
Thanks to your generosity, our Donate-a-Crate program feeds thousands of people each year. In 2017, more than 29,000 servings (563 fruit boxes) were donated to charitable organizations near our regional hubs.
If you’re closed or minimally staffed over the holidays (or simply want to “fruit it forward” at any time of year), instead of canceling your delivery, just call 1-877-FRUIT-ME (877-378-4863), and we can set up a one-time or recurring donation for you. Please give us two business days’ notice, so we can plan accordingly. We can recommend charities in our delivery areas—or let us know if there’s a local nonprofit you’d like to support.
