How to Extract Pomegranate Seeds

  1. Slice off the pomegranate’s crown, and score the rind in 3–4 places.
  2. Break the fruit apart in a bowl of cool water to avoid spraying juice.
  3. Separate the juicy red pods from the membrane and the rind under water.
  4. Discard rind and membrane, drain seeds, and use.
