Welcome to Scott Farm Orchard, home to 125 varieties of ecologically-grown heirloom apples in Dummerston, VT.
With such a rich history, Farmer Ezekiel Goodband enjoys spending time in the orchards no matter what season it is. He manages the orchard with the ecological background and considers himself a “Shepperd” of the farm. He gives himself this title because he observes and watches over the trees as if they were sheep. Biodiversity is emphasized in hopes of creating a stable ecosystem on the farm. In addition to farming all of these apples, there is an educational program put in place to teach school groups and older groups about grafting and give them a taste test of the many apples.
