Remember when you were a kid and first heard about Swiss Army knives — “It actually has scissors in it?” What couldn’t it do? Finding out about the extras that the things you use have is an important part of understanding how best to use a product or service. Just imagine the opportunities if you learned your dog could speak French — “Here is the Arf-Arf de Triomphe!”
Once in a while, I like to summarize what FruitGuys does so folks know about all of the other stuff we give you along with the fruit service you get every week. Here are the quick points:
We guarantee our fruit 100%. We recognize that we are delivering very perishable and fragile items to you. If you find upon delivery that some of your fruit has been damaged- let us know and we’ll replace it.
We want you to know us. I’m Chris and I’m a Gemini. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, feel free to call us with any fruit or worksite wellness questions. We’re a small, family-owned business and either myself, Nicole, Erin, Adia, Jeff, Dan, Jenique, or Erik will answer your call.
We want you to know the fruit in your crate. Check our website each week to see what you are eating.

Be an office hero!We want to help your business be well. We’ll continue to make you aware of awards and opportunities. Plus we do these things as well:
We provide free pedometers (nationwide) so that our clients can start walking clubs in their offices. (erin@fruitguys.com)
You get a free subscription to the Berkeley Wellness Letter. The Berkeley Wellness Letter (not my weekly newsletter you are reading) is published by the UC Berkeley School of Public Health and is inserted once per month (2nd Monday of the month) in to all our fruit crates. It is blue and white and will be tri-folded. Your staff can access the Letters online archives with the password I provide you each month in my weekly newsletter. The Wellness Letter is a great resource for summaries of research around health and wellness.
Banana visits: our banana person can visit your office (depending on location) to help pump up your staff. (There may be a charge associated with this as banana-people don’t grow on trees you know. . .)
