They make your produce possible
We strive to partner directly with farms to bring you produce that’s as fresh, local, seasonal, and sustainable as possible. Our partners’ hard work, passion, and loving stewardship of the land powers everything we do!
These are just a few of their stories.
Appleseed Farms
John Kolling’s 125-acre organic farm is one of the few places on earth where you can find Sebastopol Gravenstein apples—a delicious heirloom variety now considered endangered. John is dedicated to his trees and passionate about keeping Gravensteins available. Every August, he supplies The FruitGuys with organic Gravenstein apples.
Bernard Ranch
Vince and Vicki Bernard grow Star Ruby grapefruit, heirloom navel oranges, blood oranges, lemons, and other succulent citrus. They prioritize flavor and sweetness above all else when choosing new varieties and use natural methods of pest control rather than synthetic pesticides.
Bonita Farms
Leo Diaz grows sweet fruit and delicious vegetables in San Bernardino County, together with his brother and cousins. They grow beautiful strawberries, bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and more for our fruit boxes and Farm-to-School Program.
Devoto Gardens & Orchards
Stan Devoto started farming apples in 1975. Since then, he has planted over 90 varieties of apples, plus cut flowers and wine grapes! Each August, Stan and his crew supply The FruitGuys with a rare and endangered apple variety called the Sebastopol Gravenstein. They hand-pick their apples for the best quality, appearance, and taste.
