Sustainability Grants to Small Farms
The FruitGuys Community Fund was founded in 2012 to provide annual grant awards to small farms to support sustainable agriculture projects that have large positive impacts on the environment, local food systems, and farm diversity. The Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under fiscal sponsorship of Community Initiatives. The FruitGuys covers all administrative and staffing costs in addition to contributing to the annual budget. Grantees undergo an independent selection process and farms both in and outside The FruitGuys supply network are eligible to apply.
