We meet with urban farmers at The Growing Club – Sarvodaya Farm in Long Beach, California, to discuss educational resources, sustainability practices, and more.
The Growing Club is a 2017 alumnus of The FruitGuys Community Fund grant program which has aided them in creating a hedge habitat around their vegetable fields, plant more California native plants and fruit trees, as well as increase their insect population, and create a curriculum on native plants and peoples for their farmer training program.
