Practicing Eagle Pose arms will help open shoulder joints and create space between the shoulder blades, for a relaxed workday. As you do this stretch, don’t forget to take deep inhales and exhales, as it will help relax your mind and body.
First, sit tall in your chair and raise your forearms in a goal post-like shape. Cross your right elbow over your left and try to clasp your hands at the top. Next, inhale as you lift the shape up, and exhale as you bring the shape towards your lap. On your next inhale, release the arm pose and let the arms spread wide and exhale as you let them come down. Then, switch the pose to the opposite side by crossing your left elbow over your right. Repeat the breathing and releasing steps.
Enjoy!
