What’s Coming for The FruitGuys? Looking Ahead to 2025

I have a confession to make. I’m not a big resolution person. It’s not that I don’t set goals—I just have a habit of “setting and forgetting” resolutions. So on New Year’s, I try to ask myself a question instead: What do I want for the year ahead?
My 2025 ‘Wants’ for The FruitGuys
As I look forward to 2025, I have a lot of wants for The FruitGuys, but this is the big one: I want to increase our positive impact on the world.
For our employees, I want to continue offering support and opportunities to learn and grow.
For our clients, I want to bring even more positive and engaging experiences through our fruit, snacks, and events that connect people and improve their health.
For our farmers and suppliers, I want to be a great partner and work together to meet our business goals.
For our donation partners, I want to increase our weekly gifts of produce and snacks.
And for the small farms we support through The FruitGuys Community Fund, I want to increase the number of grants we award.
A New Chapter for Our Family Business
The pandemic was hard for our family business. For most of the years since 2020, we’ve just wanted to keep our heads above water and survive. So these wants for 2025 feel like a blessing. It’s a luxury that we can want for more, and that we can think about how to expand, not just hold on.
In early 2025, I’ll reflect a bit on the impact that The FruitGuys had in 2024. But for now, I’m truly excited for the new year. I am not a Pollyanna—I know that there are big problems to solve in the world, and I know our business will face more obstacles and challenges. But I’m optimistic that with our great team, clients, and partners, 2025 will be a good year.
