Fighting Hunger and Supporting Small Farms with Every Purchase
Together in 2022, we provided fresh fruit and snacks to help feed hungry people and funded grants to small farmers who are good stewards of the planet. We are grateful to our clients for choosing to work with our family-owned and operated B Corporation. Your orders help sustain the small independent farmers we support and source from and the community partners to which we donate. Thank you!
In 2022 we were named a Best for the World B Corp in the Community category by B Lab, the governing body of B Corps. Best for the World is a distinction granted to Certified B Corporations whose impact scores rank in the top 5% of all B Corps in their corresponding size group.
The FruitGuys donates a minimum value of 20% of its annual profits through weekly produce and snack donations from its facilities to community partners nationwide; and annual sustainability grants to small farms via our non-profit, The FruitGuys Community Fund.

We donate all visually imperfect and excess fresh fruit, produce, and snacks to local community partners. Your business with us helps support our weekly donations that feed people in need across the country.

Reducing Food Waste & CO2 Emissions
Diverted 247 tons of CO2 emissions.
Donate-a-Crate
Generous clients and individuals forwarded their deliveries, instead of canceling them, to people in need through our network of local community partners or regional charities of their choosing.
1,263 boxes were forwarded to community partners. These fed 57,577 people in need.
The FruitGuys Community Fund
The FruitGuys Community Fund provides annual grants to small farms and agricultural nonprofits for sustainability projects that have a large positive impact on the environment, local food systems, and farm diversity.
Awarded 17 small farms from 11 different states $71,136 in grant funding for farm projects that advance environmental and economic health.
Thanks to major donor Aramark for a generous donation to fund grants for agricultural nonprofits with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color leadership.

We source from small farms and independent food producers across the U.S and build long-term relationships with them.
Purchased 16 million servings of fruit and snacks from small farms and independent food producers.
Employee Volunteer Service
FruitGuys employees volunteer their time to prepare and stage weekly fruit donations to community partners, attend donation events, and help evaluate applications for The FruitGuys Community Fund’s annual farm grant cycle.
FruitGuys employees dedicated 2,654 hours of paid volunteer service.
What's Happening in 2023
The FruitGuys Community Fund 2023 grant cycle is underway. These grants provide critical support to small farms as environmental stewards and agents of climate stabilization. Thanks to a generous grant from Aramark, to fund additional grants to ensure the sustainability of Black, Indigenous and People of Color-led farms and agricultural non-profits.
Hunger Relief we continue to provide weekly fresh food to people in need by donating all our excess, edible, and visually-imperfect fruit, produce, and snacks through our network of local community partners.
Donate-a-Crate program gives clients the opportunity to easily forward their orders any time to a community partner or regional charity of their choice instead of canceling it.
B Corp Re-Certification We are in the final stages of our recertification process (this occurs every 3 years). B-corps are for-profit businesses that meet the highest standards of independently-verified social and environmental performance, accountability, and public transparency on factors from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices. B-corps go through a rigorous process to achieve and maintain their certification.
