The FruitGuys Ranks Among San Francisco’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

The verdict is in: The COVID-19 pandemic couldn’t keep The FruitGuys down! After losing more than 90% of our fruit and snack customers overnight when the pandemic closed offices in 2020, our family business is once again growing and thriving. In fact, we made the San Francisco Business Times’ 2025 list of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area.

Why We Made the Fastest-Growing Companies List

The Times’ list measures revenue growth over the last three fiscal years. The FruitGuys ranked number 56, and we’re proud to be growing alongside return-to-office efforts and a renewed focus on employee wellbeing in the Bay Area and beyond.

“Being included on this year’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies list is a testament to the hard work of our team and the loyalty of our customers,” said Erin Mittelstaedt, CEO of The FruitGuys. “As more companies bring employees back together, we’re proud to help them create healthier workplaces by providing snacks that taste good and do good, too.”

How We’re Giving as We Grow

As The FruitGuys grows, so does the positive impact of our customers. Every week, we donate produce and snacks to hunger relief organizations across the country, and the bigger we get, the more we can give. The same is true of the annual grants that we award to small farms through The FruitGuys Community Fund

“We donate a minimum value of 20% of our annual profits to relieve hunger and support small farms, and we’re excited to see those donations grow along with our company,” Erin said.

Your Orders Make It All Possible

This recognition from the San Francisco Business Times was only possible thanks to our customers. The companies, schools, and individuals who order farm-fresh fruit and nutritious snacks from us are the power behind both our growth and our giving. If you’re one of them, thank you so much for your support. We’re looking forward to doing even more good together in the years to come!
