I’m standing in the grass in front of our office, and my fingers are sticky from the oranges I just speed-peeled. It’s National Fruit at Work Day 2017—and our team is celebrating with a round of “Fruit Olympics.” We’ve already competed to see who can peel the most oranges in a single minute and who can spit watermelon seeds the furthest. I didn’t come out a winner in either event.

National Fruit at Work Day History: 2014 to Today
In the years since we officially created National Fruit at Work Day in 2014, the team and I have done all kinds of wacky things with our clients to celebrate this storied holiday. We’ve sung silly songs together, made fruit-themed dioramas, built beds and thrones with fruit boxes, dressed up in strawberry sweaters and banana masks, and written many fruit haikus (mine are all lost to the fruit gods, I’m afraid).

We always have fun on National Fruit at Work Day, and that’s the intention. It’s all about celebrating the wonders of fruit and the healthy choice you’re making by eating it in the office.
Join the Fun to Win Free Fruit and Snacks
This year, National Fruit at Work Day falls on October 7, but we’re getting the party started early. Starting today, we’re posting weekly contests on social media that will test your fruit knowledge and challenge your creativity.
Participate in any of the contests and you’ll get a chance to win that week’s prize and our grand prize: Six months of free fruit and snacks for your office!

It’s easy to join the fun. Just follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn, and spread the word to your team so they can enter, too, and boost your chance of winning the grand prize. The first round of challenges is already waiting for you!
